Ihram: At this stage, you have to wear prescribed clothes and make the intention to perform Umrah. The pilgrims also start to recite the Talbiyah.
Tawaf: It is the main ritual in which you perform seven anticlockwise circuits around the Kaaba. The round starts from the black stone, and pilgrims make dua during the walk.
Sa’i: It is a ritual of walking back and forth between the two hills of Safa and Marwa. Some portions of the path are marked with green lights, and men must jog briskly.
Hair Cutting: After completion of tawaf and sai (Safa and Marwa), the last step in Umrah is trimming or shaving men’s hair, while women should cut off an amount of hair fingertip long from end of hair. All these rituals are performed in the state of Ihram. Once hair cutting or shaving is done, your umrah is complete and now you are out of state of ihram.
What to Pack
Before packing, prepare a list of all packable items. This helps in emergency cross-checking, so nothing is left over. While going on a religious journey, focus on essentials, such as toiletries, comfortable footwear, the ihram and a prayer mat. You should also keep a water bottle and comfortable clothing.
Prayer Timings
To join group prayers, you should be careful about the Makkah and Madinah prayer timings. Some hotels offer printed schedules, whereas you can also download mobile apps to set reminders for every prayer, helping you arrive on time. These apps are quite helpful when traveling between different holy sites.
Etiquette Guidelines
Pilgrims should respect all sacred places and avoid practices that can disturb fellow pilgrims or go against regulatory guidelines. You should prevent loud conversations while travelling, meet others with kindness, and stay calm while waiting in long queues. A cooperative and peaceful trip allows for the chance to truly experience the impact of a sacred journey.
Video Guides: We provide video tutorials to guide the pilgrims through all rituals. These videos are generated after extensive research and help ensure the correct execution of rituals.
Prayer Cards: Our pocket-sized prayer cards feature printed du’as and a prayer check box, making them ideal for maintaining a schedule during travel.
Step-by-Step Checklist: We provide a pre-departure checklist and a comprehensive checklist throughout the trip to ensure everything is organized and according to plan.
24/7 Support Contact: Our customer service is available 24/7 to assist you with any issues or concerns. We take quick action on a single call to keep everything on track.
